Greg Stuebe’s Inaction on Climate Change is hitting you in the wallet.

Greg Steube and his boss Donald Trump don’t believe in Climate Change or its causes. The closest Greg has gotten to caring about the climate is trying to rename our coastal waters after his dear leader. However, as we all know, reality doesn’t care if you believe in it or not.

Hardworking Americans are feeling the effects of Climate Inflation everyday. Record temperatures across the country have made air conditioning a necessity and the cost of cooling a home this summer will average $719, up 9 percent from last year. Grocery prices have skyrocketed due to rising temperatures and weather disasters around the world, with one study predicting a 3 percent annual increase in grocery costs over the next decade. The biggest challenge for Americans in states like Florida that face the threat of hurricanes and flooding, is the cost of home insurance. Home insurance costs have jumped 33 percent over the last 3 years, with an expected increase of 6 percent this year. Floridians on fixed incomes are confronting the prospect of being unable to afford to insure homes they worked years to buy and pay for. New home buyers soon won’t be able to find insurance, with many major insurers pulling out of the state completely.

President Biden has done more to combat climate change than any president in our history. But more is needed to fight what experts are referring to as Climate Inflation.

You need a congressman who doesn’t ignore reality, who fights to fix the issues which confront you every day. Greg Steube is content to put his head in the sand until the beach is flooded. Vote Montavon for Congress on Aug. 20 and Nov. 5.

Common Sense, Common Ground.
